Step 1 - Family Tree Information (Optional)

If you know anything about the family you are trying to trace, it helps us to know what you know. You can add this information using this form. Please click on a Question Mark to add or change information on the person in the family tree. We are asking lots of questions, please don't worry if you don't know the answers - just enter what you know. It's our task to fill in the missing pieces.

Enter a description of what you would like us to do. Please clearly tell us the branch or branches of the family tree that you would like us to research. Do not worry if you do not know much about the individual or family in question.

Your family tree: What information do we need?

To help us find the information you are looking for, we wish to ask what you already know about your ancestry. This would provide our starting point. If all you know is your own date of birth, we can work from that. However, we do not want to use your funds to find out something you already know, so to help us work as efficiently as possible for you, we'd like to know the d etails of what you know about each ancestor.

For each person you know about, we would like to know:

name
occupation
religion
date and place of birth
date and place of marriage
partner(s') name(s)
date and place of death

You will probably be able to answer fewer of these questions the further back you go but do not worry - just tell us what you do know and we will research the rest for you! If you already have your family history details stored on computer, you can upload them or send these to us by e-mail or post.

Most of our clients embark on research purely out of interest – or to check out a family legend or scandal. Some have specific goals:

We will tailor our research (and quote) to your own needs. Research is presented in the form of a written report, with copies of relevant documents, detailing and explaining our research and results.
